Dr. Meagan Sims

Veterinary Medicine Since 2016

She was a small animal general practitioner in Texas for 4 years prior to moving to Springfield. She also practiced a local relief veterinarian for a year before joining the team at Deerfield Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Meagan lives with her husband Josh and their three dogs: Poppy, a German Shepherd mix, Asa, a Sheltie, and Flex, a Pitbull. Dr. Meagan enjoys several aspects of veterinary medicine, but is especially passionate about senior pet care, skin disease, dental disease, and strengthening the human-animal bond. When not in the clinic, she enjoys experiencing the beautiful Missouri landscapes while hiking and kayaking, as well as crafting and sewing.
